Winches are a vital part of any Jeep XJ owner’s arsenal who frequently goes off-roading. That being said, best winches are also great to have for many other things as well such as pulling out stubborn tree stumps, loading your ATV or UTV onto a trailer, or getting your Cherokee out of a ditch.

The Jeep XJ is a sport utility vehicle (SUV) that was manufactured and marketed by Jeep in 1983 – 2001. Inheriting the original full-size SJ model, but without a traditional body-on-frame chassis, the Jeep XJ features a light-weight unibody design. This model was originally marketed as Sportwagon and became the precursor to the modern SUV as that term was not yet in use. Chrysler manufacted this model in Toledo, Beijing, Ferreyra, Cairo, and Valencia, Venezuela.
